In a similar way, if we explain the coming into existence of a fly with the action/movement of the natural and material factors, then we will certainly accept that these factors are standing by its side or working inside that fly. Then how is this possible, have you ever thought about it?  In order to be able to answer this deep but simple question and understand the issue we need to do this: For a second, just give up accepting by heart, without questioning, what we are told and try to accept this information in the real sense. It is said,” material causes create this fly” So be it. Let’s accept that material causes are really making that fly.

Then what do we have to accept for that? How will it happen? This is a very interesting question.

In fact, the issue gets stacked always at the same point over the thin line between faith and denial. It can be said that the eye of the one who doesn’t want to accept, with obstinacy, the Creator and a conscious creation is looking at the reality from a blind point of view. All the art, wisdom and blessings, which can indeed be recognized even by a person of average mind, are hidden in that blind spot where he is looking.

First of all, let us express that there is no need, to tell one by one all the scientific findings about evolution and then to try refuting those which, so to say, are against Islam and to show the ones which are supporting Islam and with their evidence to show the rightness of Islam and to make an exaggerated effort in order to prove that Evolution does not contradict with Islam with a view to showing that Islam is not contrary to science. We explain the reasons for this below. By doing something essentially different with regard to evolution, we have tried to state the style of approach of Quran and Risale-i Nur, a real lesson of Quran, grasping the matter fundamentally and being formed around the fundamental purposes. “How should we answer such a question with an approach appropriate with Quran? Can we accept Evolution if we take coincidence and atheism out of it? Have all living things come into existence from a single cell, having evolved from each other? Our short answer to such questions is this:

In this section of our book, we come across two original examples which narrate another impossibility, the third impossible scenario of the three impossible scenarios which could have been faced in case of the acceptance of the claim of nature, which is the third way of the three ways, “material causes, self-creation and nature” that are brought forward to explain the coming into existence of matter by leaving the Creator out of consideration. Stephen Hawking who tries to substitute the Creator with M-Theory, multiple universes and the law of gravity, says this: “God may exist, but science could explain the universe without a creator. Just like Darwinism ended the necessity of a creator in biology, new theories of physics have made the role of a creator in the formation of the universe unnecessary.”

In his book titled “Grand Design” he claims that “Since there is something called the law of gravitation, the universe could create itself from nothing and has done so indeed. This self-creation is the reason of the fact that something has happened rather than nothing and that the universe and we exist”. And he adds: “It is not necessary to refer to God for the ignition of the spark and the readiness of the universe for functioning”.        

In this thinking, which could make some categorical mistake by replying “M Theory” when asked about the origin of the law of gravity, and which seems to forget that laws and theorems themselves do not have the power to create, we are asked to believe that something, which was not existing yet, at a time when it was still not existing, all of a sudden made itself exist for an unknown reason and formed all visible material/objects in this universe.

According to “Mechanic Universe” model which was established by Isaac Newton, the creator provided the matter and the laws at the beginning. Then, the universe started to work like a clock and since then, it has been working like that. In fact, Newton was a devout Christian. But there is another point to be made here. The Christianity which lost its originality is not a religion based on the doctrine, belief of Oneness of the creator (Tawheed). And Tawheed is something more than just believing the existence of a creator in a simple way.

Let us have a look at this famous, perfect and ageless example of Pharmacy, which is used in Treatise of Nature to explain the first item of the nine impossibilities, which is used to narrate how material reasons/causes are incapable of creating the matter/objects, grasping the issue at its roots. It is attempted to create a living mixture, the formula by using different substances contained in around one hundred jars. Then we see that there are a great number of mixtures/formulas with functions of living things. Then we see that, many mixtures showing the characteristics of liveliness have been made around. When we analyse their content in a detailed manner, we see that these mixtures are put together and produced with special and precise measurements. We certainly know that such a result can’t be obtained with the random mixing of the materials in the jars with the blowing of the wind. 

We would like to develop our example little further and we imagine ourselves in a distant future in a fantastic “Biotechnology Laboratory” of a science fiction film.
